Liz West: H.A.P.P.Y at the Mercer Art Gallery

Graphics designed for Liz West: H.A.P.P.Y at the Mercer Art Gallery in Harrogate. Including all exhibition graphics, labels, signs, outdoor banner, social media graphics, evites and an email signature image. We were also responsible for the management of the print and production of most of the graphics.

The title of this exhibition reflects Liz West’s experience of Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.), a condition linked to the shorter and darker days of autumn and winter. She experiments with colour and light to create environments that inspire joy and curiosity.

Through her art, Liz creates playful experiences and environments that heighten our senses and positively affect how we feel. She is interested in our deep human connection to colour and light, and how they can evoke physical, psychological and emotional responses in us.
